It’s not everyday when Col. Lyn Sherlock, 60th Air Mobility Wing Commander and CMSgt Carol Johnson, interim Command Chief come knocking on your door to tell you that you’re out of uniform. But that’s what happened on 31 March 2006 when SSgt Tabitha Chapoton, 60th MDTS, was promoted on the spot to the rank of Technical Sgt. under the STripes for Exceptional Performance (STEP) for her outstanding accomplishments, community involvement and military professionalism.
