Ramstein Pharmacy Team

The Ramstein Air Base Pharmacy team was recently selected as “USAFE Pharmacy of the Year” for an unprecedented fourth consecutive year.  The team consists of two pharmacists and eleven technicians.  Members originate from seven different countries; as far as Tibet all the way to Texas.  This diverse group provides world class service to the second busiest pharmacy operations in USAFE and can offer patient counseling in seven different languages.  The team dispenses 115,000 prescriptions annually to 53,000 beneficiaries in the KMC area.  In 2007, Team Pharmacy captured 17 awards ranging from squadron level to DoD level.  The team also contributed a total of 548 hours of community services to the Kaiserslautern military and host-nation communities, with four members receiving personal recognition at the Ramstein Air Base Annual Volunteer Celebration.
